Red Sox 2014 season

The 2014 Red Sox were supposed to have whats believed to be a fun easy going season. 13 games in and we see that is definitely not whats going on. With a good fraction of the team feeling some types of injury the Red Sox are feeling the struggle. No one was expecting them to take the world series, but to have what seems so far as a very rough season ahead of them. With Koji having a sore shoulder and Ellsbury wearing pin stripes 2014 might very well be disastrous. The Red Sox do not have in my mind a chance this season, but if they play like they did in 2013 who really knows what could happen. What seemed like a the beginning of the golden age for the Red Sox is starting to seem like a disastrous start for this defending world champion team. Who knows though. When the Red Sox won in 2004, it took until 2007 for them to regain their momentum. Either way, the Red Sox had an amazing season last year and that's enough glory to last the people of Massachusetts a good couple of years.
